Join us in providing Shelter from the Storm

We are not a single umbrella but part of a network, providing emergency relief to families in metropolitan, regional and remote Aboriginal communities in South Australia. For many communities, the effects of this storm will last for years. One umbrella can shelter only a few, but a network can provide far-reaching cover.

2020 has been unprecedented: from bush-fires to a pandemic and all South Australians have been forced to face uncertainty and consider how our future may be reshaped. Our minds and hearts are with those people whose lives are in turmoil: those people who are weathering a storm.

The Morialta Trust is proud to be part of a not-for-profit network that is helping protect South Australia’s most vulnerable children and their families from this storm. The Morialta Trust assists in supporting a network of organisations. The Morialta Trust provides grants for not-for-profit organisations to support children, youth and their families in South Australia, and has been contributing to the community for over 40 years. For now, we are concentrating on providing emergency relief funds due to the impact of the pandemic.

Later this year, when social distancing returns to normal, we plan to fund projects with longer term development goals designed to support, engage, educate or give hope to children, youth and their families in need. Our robust application, review and acquittal process ensures our grants make a measurable difference.

We offer our supporters and corporate partners the flexibility of choice to donate directly to our emergency appeal, to selected projects and or to the trust fund that gives back to the network every year.
